It was a day full of learning. Had an exposure to the future learning needs and the kind of professions after 2025 and onwards.
"I Am The Future" workshop was organised at Subodh Public School near Airport on the occasion of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalaam's Birthday (Student's Day) in association with Vigyaan Bharati, Rajasthan and Space Nexus.
Students had the chance to meet and have orientation from the scientists of DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) and SNST (The School of Materials Science and Engineering - formerly School of Nano Science and Technology).
On the occasion; Dr. Sumit Gupta (Dean Sc.), Mr. Pawan Pareek (Director, Chandra Foundation), Mr. Sanjay Bansal (Director, Project India Lab), Mr. Shailesh Jain (Project Head, DST, Rajasthan Government), Dr. Pankaj Gupta (Prof. MNIT, Jaipur), Dr. Sangeet Pillai (Design Institute), Eng. Govind Yadav(Director, Space Development Nexus) responded and resolved the Science Queries of students.
Program coordinator Dr. Maghendra Sharma (Secretary, Vigyaan Bharati, Rajasthan) explained the importance of Science in day today life.
In the workshop students learnt to make models and drawing of Aircraft, Hydro Rocket, Drone and Spacecraft.
For outstanding performance; two students Nikhil Gupta and Ansh Meena have been selected to represent school at International Science Congress; to be held on November 4 - 8, 2019, Kolkata. Students who performed well; were also given certificates.
Principal Ms. Kamaljeet Yadav motivated and advised students to adopt Dr. Kalam's principles and lead an ideal life for a strong nation.
