#YogaDay2020

Yoga is a mirror to look at ourselves from within. It takes us into the present moment, the only place where life exists. It adds energy, strength and beauty to body, mind and soul.
Yoga is a powerful natural state that can inspire us in many ways and Yoga exercises are like prose, whereas yoga is the poetry of movements.
Once we understand the grammar of Yoga; we can write our poetry of movements.
In an endeavor to participate actively in the International Yoga Day, Subodh Public School, Airport celebrated 'Yoga Day' on digital platform with parents, students and teachers on Sunday,  21 June, 2020, to bring peace, harmony and happiness.
This was a great opportunity to imbibe the value of discipline while doing the exercises altogether. Yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual practice that needs to be carried every day.
Everyone participating in the session got the chance to know how yoga embodies unity of mind and body.
A number of asanas were demonstrated to the students and they did them with great interest. These asanas were taught to bring about holistic approach to health and well being among the students. The importance of the day lay in its physical aspect rather than in glorifying the day using words.
