An Orientation Session was organized at Subodh Public School near Airport on October 15, 2019 for students of classes VI - XII on the occasion of birthday of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. The session was initiated by motivational speaker Mr. Nitin Sharma, Academic Director of Chemistry at Innovation and Educational Pvt. Ltd. Jaipur
He started the session with an act where he played a dual role both for Dr. Kalam and Mr. Nitin. He made students understand the struggle of Dr. Kalam’s life and how he succeeded with self motivation and hard work based on his Autobiography "Wings of Fire"
He described Dr. Kalam’s life as a man of humble beginning and simple life, he carried an unusual mix of spiritual convictions with spirit of scientific enquiry. Born in Rameshawaram, Tamil Nadu (1931), young Muslim boy catapulted his fortunes to be called as ‘The Missile Man of India’.
The presenter who himself is a source of motivation to students gave encouraging examples from the life of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and inspired students to be a self motivator even in hard time. He explained the importance of positive thinking and attitude which is necessary to be successful in life.
