Seminar on "Fitness and Nutritious Food"
As per the CBSE guidelines, "Fitness Week" is being celebrated in the school. Under this programme of "Fit India Movement", various activities to impart knowledge, improve emotional quotient and physical health are being organised.
In the same line; a seminar was organised for the students of all classes and participant students of 'Aahar Club'.
In the session Ms. Anju Atreya (Director, Body Pulse), well-known Jaipur based qualified Yoga, Diet & Active Lifestyle consultant with a Masters Degree in Food & Nutrition from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur with an experience of 15 Years of working with private and governmental organizations and internship from A.I.I.M.S, New Delhi addressed the students about right food eating habits, intake of nutritive food stuffs, right dietary supplements for proper and balanced growth of young future leaders. She focused on dietary malpractices which are adversely affecting the health of students and asked the students to intake right food.
The seminar was highly educative. In open forum, students raised their queries to get the misconceptions related to dietary practices and disorders, which were considered by the guest and right remedies and practices were suggested to the students by her. School Principal Mrs. Kamaljeet Yadav gave a green token to the guest with a thanks note focusing on Importance of Right Eating Habits and Importance of Balanced Diet in day to day life.
