Students (class 11th & 12th ) from Psychology stream had a visit to SMS, PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL, today on 15.11.19. The prime objective of this visit was to enhance the knowledge of students and to develop an insight about the real life scenario of Mental Disorders.
Students visited 'Out Patient and Inpatient Departments', ECT (Electro Convulsive Therapy), EEG, ECG, Family Therapy Centre, Rehabilitation Centre, Geriatric Centre, Psychological Testing & various Psychotherapies, in the guidance of Dr. Rishika and Dr. Manish.
Lastly, students got an opportunity to meet Dr. R. K. Solanki (Senior Professor & HOD, SMS Psychiatry Centre). He took an interactive session, discussing upon mental illnesses and its awareness.
