"International Tiger Day", is an annual celebration to raise awareness for tiger conservation, held annually on 29 July. It was created in 2010 at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit. The goal of the day is to promote a global system for protecting the natural habitats of tigers and to raise public awareness and support for tiger conservation issues.
School is supporting tiger conservation by raising awareness and sensitivity among students by observing 'International Tiger Day' and conducting various activities. In the morning assembly a small speech, facts about tigers and enactment was presented to create awareness to protect this species from needy human beings. Students of classes VI & VII participated in 'Stamp Designing' and class VIII participated in 'Poster Making' competition on the topic 'Save The Stripes'. 'Display Boards' decoration was also conducted on the topic 'Cause An Uproar to Save Tigers' in which students of classes IX & X participated & decorated the boards.
