Diwali Message

Festival of Lights - 'Diwali' is next door and preparations are going on; we have to prepare ourselves also for this joyful occasion by saying NO to crackers and YES to sensitiveness for surroundings. To make students understand this and make them sensitive towards environment; an act was played in the school assembly. In this act; bad effects of crackers were shown. However, we can enjoy the festive season by exchanging sweets, having limited amount of bursting crackers.

Students understood the act and appreciated it by giving large round of applause. Here are some pics to share:

This Diwali, light a life!! 😇🙏🏻

This Diwali, please keep your car/bike stocked with small boxes of sweets, gift packs of chocolates, crayons, small toy cars, ear-rings or any other small knick-knacks that can be useful.

Gift them to the boys who fill up petrol at petrol pumps, the old cobbler who sits under a tree in your neighbourhood, the kids who sell toys/balloons at traffic signals, the tailor who does your shirt buttons/trouser alterations, kids from the labour camp, the lady who sits at the street side with a wicker basket of fresh vegetables, the people who collect your trash... smile and wish them a very happy diwali. The smile that lights up their faces at your unexpected gesture will be more illuminating than a 1000 electric lamps!!

This Diwali, light a life!! 😇🙏🏻
