JIFF - Jaipur International Film Festival 2020
To explore the world of Cinema, school in association with Jaipur International Film Festival screened best new animation, live action, documentary and experimental films from across the globe in different languages on Monday January 20 and Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Screening of India's feature fiction film Major Nuala directed by Ganesh Veeran based on the novel by Human Resource Development Minister, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank was one of the special attractions.

AAHAR CLUB'S special session of Cake Making
'Baking' and 'Icing' of Cake - Workshop was taken by Expert Chefs from COLLEGE OF HOSPITALITY AND ADMINISTRATION (CHA). Different types of cakes i. e. Fruit Cake, Chocolate Ruffles and Black Forest were prepared by the Chefs. Students very keenly observed the entire process and learnt about the culinary tools used and technique to be followed.

UNDERSTANDING GANDHI
An oration on ‛UNDERSTANDING GANDHI' was attended by 30 students of classes 9 and 11, held at Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur. This event was organised on the birth anniversary of Babu Brij Pal Das, founder of Hotel Clarks Amer. The occasion was graced by his excellency Sh. Kalraj Mishra, Governor of Rajasthan, grand son and grand daughter-in-law of Mahatma Gandhi, Sh. Raj mohan Gandhi and Smt. Usha Gandhi.
Event was commenced with lighting of lamp by all dignitaries presented there which was followed by felicitation of the guests and symbolic presentation of our national anthem show cased by some students.
Welcome sentence was given by Acharya Shri Srivatsa Goswami.
His excellency Sh. Kalraj Mishra ji read the preamble of India and Fundamental Rights of the citizens of India.
Grand son of Gandhi ji, Sh. Rajmohan Gandhi then shared many incidences about Gandhi's life and incidences related to freedom movement. At last there was a small session in which students had an opportunity to ask questions, Sh. Gandhi answered all the queries raised.
Students witnessed this very informative and inspirational oration given by a great historian and biographer Sh. Raj Mohan Gandhi. It was a pleasure attending the session. Some glimpses:
PARIKSHA PARV (परीक्षा पर्व)
National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) is launching Pariksha Parv 2.0 for the students appearing in exams in the session 2019-20 to make the exams joyful activity. Main objectives of the program are to change the outlook/perspective of children towards exams and to bring positive impact through social media platform and to provide expert advice on exam related stress and anxiety in children.
The Program intails the streaming of Q & A sessions with renowned experts- Psychiatrists/Psychologists,Motivational Speakers etc through Facebook/Twitter/YouTube of NCPCR and Radio Spots/Jingle broadcast through AIR (Vividh Bharti).

An industrial visit at 'Diamond and Color Gemstones Training Institute'
An industrial visit was organised on January, 09, 2020 at 'Diamond and Color Gemstones Training Institute' for selected students of Class XI (Commerce). The students got an opportunity to know the working of the jewellery industry - how the raw form of stones are cut and polished for further use in Ornaments.
The students were also told about the future courses they may opt for in gems and jewellery sector.

The Awakened Citizen Program (ACP)
Two days Facilitators Development Workshop - “The Awakened Citizen Program (ACP)” was organized by Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi at Subodh Public School, Airport to motivate the students towards enlightened citizenship and to make the students aware of the higher dimensions of education, work and life.
(ACP) is a three years graded value education for students of class 6-9 developed by Ramakrishna Mission, Delhi after years of research followed by pilot projects. Unlike other values education program this program is designed to help discover and manifest the infinite strength and goodness latent in each one of us. The teaching methodologies and curriculum framework have been carefully designed to enable a deep and enduring transformation in children. The ACP was launched in 2014 and since then has been implemented in over 5000 schools across the country which includes Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalays, CBSE Private Schools, Government Schools of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana etc.
This Program is based on the message that each one of us, carries within, an infinite source of power, strength and goodness. This power and strength can be felt, every time we say "I CAN". The faith in this strength is called Atmashraddha and is the basis to awakening several human possibilities that are open to us.
The purpose of this program was to awaken the inner strength and potential of the students, motivate them to work with self-development, prudence and happiness. 9 Principals and 93 Teachers from various CBSE schools participated in this programme.
