An occasion to celebrate Victory over Defeat

Subodh Public School, Airport always believes in promoting the spirit of festivity and celebrations. As festival season is a perfect time to reflect our blessings and seek out ways to make life better for those around us, a 'Virtual Diwali Celebration' was organized for the students of classes I – XII on Wednesday, November 11, 2020.
To give students a platform to show their skills various activities were conducted viz. Rangoli and Mandana making with theme “Enhance the Beauty of Occasion”, Sweets and Desserts Making with theme “Have a Bunch full of Sweetness”, Candle, Diya, Basket and Light decoration with theme “Good Design for Good Moments”. A total of 106 students participated with great enthusiasm.
Rangoli & Mandana Making
As part of Indian festivity, a colourful and traditional art make its way with aplomb and enthusiasm. Gracing the entrances to Indian households is the vibrant display of Rangoli that is seen to be the harbinger of good luck and years of happiness. Students of classes I – XII showcased various Indian Rangolis under different categories viz. Colour Rangoli, Flower Rangoli, Mandana and Rangoli of Assam. Ms. Roseleen Bahl, an educationist, artist and the Brand owner of Kraft Jungle based at Gurugram encouraged and guided students on the different aspects of Designs.
Sweets and Desserts Making
Cooking requires integration of cognitive, physical, and socio-emotional processes and learning to cook involves modeling and the mastery of skills, social cognitive theory might explain why a successful food system that relies on cooking would benefit from activity that promotes positive mood and self-confidence. Sweets and desserts are the sole of Indian festival and also represents our culture.
Mr. Vaibhav Rastogi (Head-Brand and Business /HR) and Chef Deepak Gautam from College of Hospitality Administration, Jaipur with their vast experience and practical knowledge in food motivated and given the insight of food industry, as a Students of class VI-XII participated in the sweet and dessert making activity. They presented their creativity and showcased their Culinary Skills. The students felt motivated by the presence of guests which added attraction among them.
Diwali Decoration (Candle, Diya, Basket and Light) Activity
Diwali celebrations are incomplete and graceless without the use of Candle, Diya, Gifts and Light. The decoration with diyas not only make Diwali the festival of lights but they also symbolize the supremacy and consequence of brightness over darkness.
The guest of Event was Subodh Alumni Ms. Rajita Patni, Director ADORN by RAJITA. She encouraged students by saying that beautifying simple things always delights the day of the receiver.
In this activity students of classes VI – XII have painted, decorated and made enticing Diyas and Candles, decorated gift baskets and brightened up the space at their home with lights.

The Vigilance Awareness Week is observed every year across India to provide integrity in public life and achieve a corruption free society.
The theme for 2020 Vigilance Awareness Week is 'Vigilant India, Prosperous India (Satark Bharat, Samridh Bharat)'.
Subodh Public School, Airport observed the ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ from Oct. 27 to Nov. 02,2020. The students of classes VI to XII participated in various activities like essay writing, slogan writing, elocution, digital poster making, cartoon making, webinar and expressed their views, concepts and suggestions.
'Aawaj' - Action Against Women related crime and awareness for justice
Rajasthan Police Organised an awareness session “ 'Aawaj' - Action Against Women related crime and awareness for justice” on the virtual platform of Subodh Public School, Airport on Tuesday, November 03, 2020. The programme was focused on giving students the complete information about all kinds of laws and how to avoid crime and criminals and to develop the sense of respect for women.
The eminent speakers were Ms. Preeti Jain (IPS), SP, Community Policing, Police headquarter Jaipur and Ms. Seema Hingonia (RPS), Additional SP telecommunication, Police headquarter, Jaipur.
The youth of Subodh Public School from classes XI-XII were strengthened by various legal information and also interacted with the speakers.
School Principal, Ms. Kamaljeet Yadav thanked the guests for their valuable information regarding Laws and Acts.
